Délicatesse et chaos
L’Objet et les techniques d’ornementation se situent au cœur de ma démarche. L’argile et son passage au feu constitue une matière fondatrice de ma pratique. Je suis particulièrement attirée par les savoir-faire anciens portés et transmis par les Femmes. J’aspire à les réactualiser.
La forme creuse, destinée à être remplie, revêt une grande importance pour moi. Je suis profondément intéressée par les objets à vocation utilitaire et ornementale, leur fonction et leur symbolique dans le quotidien.
Les surfaces sont pour moi des lieux de recherches formelles qui s’entrelacent à une quête poético-ludique où métaphores et néo-mythologies occupent une place centrale. Je construis des visuels qui habitent les volumes que je crée, guidée par une approche narrative ouverte et en constante évolution.
Mon approche esthétique est maximaliste, fantaisiste et ludique. Couleurs vives et références aux motifs anciens sont omniprésent dans ma façon de travailler les surfaces. Je visite constamment la fine frontière qui se situe entre la délicatesse et le chaos.
Delicacy and chaos
The object and its ornamental techniques form the core of my artistic inquiry. Clay, its plasticity and transformation through fire, constitutes the foundational material of my practice. I draw on ancestral knowledge historically carried and transmitted by women, seeking to reactivate these practices within a contemporary context.
The hollow form, conceived to contain or receive, is central to my approach. My research engages with objects that merge utility and ornament, and with the functional and symbolic roles they occupy in everyday life.
Surface operates as a site of formal experimentation where material investigation intersects with a poetic and ludic imaginary. Metaphors and neo mythological constructions structure this process, informing the visual systems that inhabit and articulate the volumes I create through an open, evolving narrative methodology.
A maximalist, whimsical, and playful aesthetic underpins my work. Vivid chromatic palettes and references to ancient motifs recur throughout my surface treatments. My practice continually negotiates the threshold between refinement and disorder, exploring the productive tensions that arise at this boundary.
